Steve graduated from Berklee College of Music studying Composition/Film Scoring while playing cello for the Berklee College of Music String Quartet. After moving to Los Angeles, Steve worked in sound post production for television and film and composed for music libraries as well as performing with the Brentwood Symphony. He can be seen around Los Angeles performing his original contemporary pieces solo and with small ensembles and has been heard on local TV and radio. Steve writes original scores for live and traveling productions as well as TV and film while continuing to record as a stringed instrument studio musician. He has composed for many "Best Picture" winning films at multiple festivals including, "Ghostline," "The Immortal Edward Lumley," and "Zero" as well as winning "Best Score" for "The Immortal Edward Lumley" and having a nomination for "Best Score" for "Zero," and "The Saddle." Steve won an Emmy for his score for "Daisy Belle" and has been nominated for an Emmy for his score for the KPBS broadcast of the "San Diego Film Awards."
